Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
Ned & Co Prints ("we", "our", "us"), at 26 Green Head Lane, Keighley, BD20 6EU, United Kingdom, operates nedandco.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
2. What Data We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, hashed password
- Order information: shipping address, order history, payment status
- Payment data: processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details
- Newsletter: email address (with your consent)
- Cookies and local storage: essential sign-in, cart and consent preferences; optional Google Analytics cookies only if analytics is enabled and you explicitly accept it
3. How We Use Your Data
- To process and fulfil your orders
- To send order confirmation and shipping notifications
- To manage your account
- To send marketing emails (only with your consent)
- To improve our website and services
4. Third-Party Services
We process account and order information to perform our contract with you, retain records where legally required, use consent for newsletter email, and use our legitimate interests to secure and maintain the service.
- Stripe: payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
- Sanity: content management
- Azure Communication Services: transactional and newsletter emails
- Microsoft Azure: application hosting, database storage and operational logs
- Google Analytics 4 (optional): if enabled, consent-based measurement of public-page visits and traffic sources, not orders or sales (Google Privacy Policy)
5. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@nedandco.com.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to make the site work. Optional analytics is off unless configured for this site and you select "Accept analytics". A previous acceptance of our essentials-only notice does not give analytics permission. Rejecting analytics does not affect shopping. Use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to change or withdraw your choice. We do not load Google Analytics before permission, including consent-denied measurement pings.
If you opt in, Google receives a random browser identifier, technical browser/device information, and limited public-page and traffic-source information. Like other network services, Google receives your IP address in transit; GA4 says it does not log or store individual IP addresses. This is not anonymous or cookieless measurement. We replace dynamic page names with generic labels, remove search terms, URL tokens and arbitrary query values, and only retain specified campaign labels and known referral sources. Account, admin, cart, checkout, authentication and unknown routes are excluded. We do not send customer/order identifiers or instrument purchases, advertising or session replay.
Withdrawal stops further measurement by this integration and attempts to remove its analytics cookies without clearing sign-in or cart data. Already transmitted information cannot be recalled by the cookie controls; contact us about your data rights. Google may process information outside the UK under its applicable data-protection safeguards.
7. Data Retention
We keep account information while it is needed to provide your account, and order records for fulfilment, disputes and applicable tax/accounting retention requirements. Newsletter subscriptions can be withdrawn using the unsubscribe link. You can request deletion; records required by law may need to be retained. Contact us for details of the records we hold. If analytics is enabled, our analytics cookies expire after 30 days without renewal, and we configure GA4 event-level retention to two months.
